The TLC Program
Our classrooms range from infants to Kindergarten. Our rooms are listed by age; however, these ages are approximate, as we favor transitioning children in response to their developmental stages.
We are here to provide a safe, nurturing environment where children can learn and develop at their own pace. We correct behavioral problems with distraction and discussion.

The focus of our infant curriculum is to be age-appropriate and to stimulate learning. We recognize that rhythm and repetition is vital to children of this age to enhance their learning. We provide toys and material which are easy to manipulate and enjoyable for your child.
The infant program emphasizes a nurturing environment, introducing babies to healthy social and emotional interaction, language acquisition, body awareness, and motor control
TLC, through play and guided play we enhance small and large motor skills, cognitive skills, and social/emotion development. Our curriculum includes songs, books, stories, finger-plays and many other activities in fun and age-appropriate ways to encourage pre-literacy skills. We encourage eye-hand coordination, ability to follow directions, development of vocabulary.
In the toddler program, we build on skills learned in the infant program and provide a safe and happy environment for toddlers to become more independent. Problem solving, concept formation, cooperation and self-help skills are also introduced.
TLC’s Two year old classes are encouraged to develop knowledge of different shapes, color matching, counting skills, memory recall, a desire to help, an awareness of similarities and differences, and an understanding of obedience and responsibility. We encourage confidence and independence in each of our children.
A typical day involves circle time, story time, free-play, language development, numbers, finger play, nursery rhymes, skills development, outdoor play.
TLC’s three year old curriculum emphasizes the development of our children's observation skills, decision making skills, developing problem solving along with reasoning abilities. We provide thematically based songs, stories, finger plays and nursery rhymes. Our program is designed to enhance large muscle development.
Our private kindergarten curriculum provides a strong foundation for all our children's years in school. We provide them opportunities for learning in a calm, pleasant and stimulating environment. Our teachers provide one-on-one assistance to any student as needed.
They learn spelling, phonics development, some math skills and reading.
